The X37 Splitting Axe is ideal for large logs that are difficult to split. It has a forged alloy carbon steel blade that is highly resistant to abrasion. The side recesses make it easier to split the wood and prevent the blade from getting stuck in the wood. The splitting axe has a hammer side for hammering wedges into wood. This side has rounded corners to prevent the formation of burrs. The handle is made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic and has a comfortable non-slip and anti-vibration grip. Rubber protection on the underside of the handle reduces vibrations that can occur when the wood is missed.
