Fitting bearings to tapered saddles can be a difficult and time-consuming job. The use of a hydraulic nut SKF allows the high driving forces required to mount bearings to be applied easily and quickly. Removing bearings mounted on adapters or withdrawal sleeves is also often a difficult and time-consuming job. These problems can be reduced by using a hydraulic nut SKF.
